Understanding the Christian Calendar

To be a Christian is to embody a distinctive identity - one predicated on the person and work of Jesus as central to our understanding of God and his purposes in the world.

There is therefore no part of our lives that exists outside of our incorporation into Christ and the mission of God. This even included the way we tell time!
